It’s easy to connect with a Patient Ambassador: simply complete and submit the form or call 1-800-745-7099. Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a response via e-mail or phone from The Better Way Back® team. At your convenience, we’ll arrange for you (or your loved one) to speak with a Patient Ambassador who suffered from a similar condition, has similar interests and hobbies, or selected the same surgeon. We can even provide you with some questions to start the discussion. We’re ready to help.

The Better Way Back® community understands what you’re going through. Our Patient Ambassadors are ready to help. And they know how to help.
These compassionate men and women, who have recovered from chronic back and/or leg pain after undergoing minimally disruptive spine surgery, volunteer their time to help people like you. They are here to answer your questions honestly. Our Patient Ambassadors are willing to share their personal experiences to help give you a more balanced perspective as you consider minimally disruptive surgery. They are also available to provide you with encouragement and emotional support, both before and after surgery.
In other words, our Patient Ambassadors are here to help you get your life back.

The Better Way Back® team is ready to connect you with a caring, supportive Patient Ambassador. You can interact with your Patient Ambassador by phone, email, or both. Here’s an outline of the process and what you can expect:
Within 48 hours, of receiving your inquiry to speak with a Patient Ambassador, a team member from The Better Way Back® will follow up with you via phone or e-mail to initiate the pairing process. We’ll arrange for you (and/or your loved one) to speak with a Patient Ambassador who suffered from a similar condition, has similar hobbies and interests, or chose the same surgeon.
Within 48 hours of speaking with The Better Way Back, you will be contacted via phone or e-mail by a Patient Ambassador. Your Patient Ambassador will be available to answer your questions regarding minimally disruptive spine surgery, based on his/her own personal experience. Some topics that are often asked of Patient Ambassadors include preparing for surgery, the hospital experience, and the post-op recovery process.
Your Patient Ambassador and/or a member of The Better Way Back team will contact you about 2 weeks after surgery to see how your recovery is progressing. Your Patient Ambassador will be available to answer any questions or offer support to you or your loved ones.
