Patient Ambassador in the News
Patient Ambassador and retired firefighter, Mike, was recently featured in an article in Austin, TX. The article showcases Mike’s journey to recovery after undergoing the minimally disruptive XLIF® procedure in April 2012. Today, Mike is back to walking pain-free without a cane. “I forget where my cane is half the time,” says Mike. “I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by positive people and maintain a great attitude throughout this whole journey.” The Better Way Back® would like to thank Mike, and all of the Patient Ambassadors in our community, for sharing their inspirational stories.
